Why Chinese SUVs dominate the import market

Out of our last 240 deliveries, eight vehicles in ten were SUVs from Chinese brands. The reason fits in three figures: for the same budget, a Chinese SUV offers on average 30% more equipment, a longer manufacturer warranty, and hybrid powertrains that clear Algerian displacement ceilings with ease.
Plug-in hybrids like BYD's DM-i line have become our customers' default choice: a modest combustion displacement means easy eligibility, restrained fuel use, and electric smoothness day to day. Full EVs are growing too, driven by entry prices under 3 million dinars.
Our selection is deliberately tight: we only list models whose parts and after-sales service are already available in Algeria.
